What happens if I receive a traffic fine?

If you are stopped by the police for violating traffic rules, you are required to pay the fine yourself directly or as instructed on the spot.

If our company later receives a fine notice from the authorities, we will request full reimbursement of the fine amount from the customer listed on the rental agreement as the driver at the time of the offence. An administration fee of 20 EUR will also apply for processing the fine.

If the fine is sent directly to your home address, we strongly recommend that you follow the payment instructions carefully and pay it within the stated deadline. This will help you avoid further escalation, possible suspension of your driving licence, or additional and much higher costs.
